I Wanted To Be My Own Boss

David Wiffen launched his EweMove business in Herne Hill & Brixton in April 2017.

All my working life I have been working in estate agency, with the last 16 years working for a large corporate estate agency in the South East of England as an Area Lettings Manager.

The reason why I chose to open my own estate agency was because I wanted to be my own boss.

Travelling was a huge time commitment in my previous role so I wanted to work close to home and now I’m working from home so I have gone from one extreme to another – perfect!

I believe the best thing about EweMove is the flexibility, I am able to run and structure my own business and work my diary around my lifestyle.

The branding of a green sheep may not necessarily be associated with a London brand but it is different and bold in the marketplace.

Alongside the branding the support mechanisms offered by the Sheep Pen are far better than other franchises in my opinion.

The fact that I didn’t need any staff or an office to start up was very attractive as I simply was not at that stage where I could facilitate that.

I listed 16 properties in South London within a 3-month period of launching with a potential income of £72,831.

I cannot wait to continue to grow my business and the brand awareness in my area."
